We're loving this new park that just opened up near us!  It's completely handicapped accessible and has a lot of different equipment than other parks here!

That's why we had to go for our first orthodontic consult!  Poor Ben is going to need some VIP orthodontic help!  We're looking at 2 phases.... the first when he loses more teeth with a palate expander and headgear, which will be about 18 months of treatment.  Then we'll go back around 12 years old for some braces!  Yikes!  He DID NOT want to go to the orthodontist, but he was perfect at this appointment and sucked it up!

We still try to visit my grandmother pretty frequently.  She's pretty quiet now and sleeps a ton.  But her whole demeanor changes when she sees the kids!

This past Monday, we went up to my mom's to visit my Aunt and Uncle and a friend from 4th grade!  We lost touch around college for many years but reconnected a few years ago.  She was vacationing with her extended family in Emerald Isle (as per my recommendation so I hope she loved it!!!) this week!

Sarah and I attempting to get a picture with our kids.  So when that was failing, I just asked Ben to snap something quickly!  At least it was documented!

We spent the afternoon before we left on the beach with my family.  Uncle Hubie put some bait on for Ben so he could do a little fishing.  Ben didn't last very long but he never usually does!

 And Lexi just took a nap = glorious for all of us!!!

My Uncle took Ben out for a bit on his paddleboard/surf board!  Ben loved it!  He never stood up because he was too scared but loved doing that with Uncle Hubie!

We go back up today and wait to see my sister, Cory and Trey tomorrow!  Woo Hoo!!!!
