A snapshot of our January:
We took the kids ice skating and it was so much fun! All 3 of them liked it! Lexi was obviously the most needy but she didn't want to leave! It was a lot of fun!
Mr. Independent on skates.
Most improved:
We took the boat out for a spin and brought our neighbor along. Underneath her clothes, Lexi insisted on wearing her bathing suit.... and was VERY upset that we weren't going to "play at an island"!
I took Ben to a birthday party at a roller skating rink and he had a blast! We skated the first hour or so holding hands and I just ate it up! Then when he felt okay by himself, there was no more hand holding... *sniff, sniff*
This really got Ben interested in using his roller blades he got last Christmas!
We took a few visits to the children's museum. Having a member pass has been such a sanity saver! It's great for cold, rainy, or any day really! The kids love going....
We brought Cole with us one time and the boys spent almost the whole time building a prison!
Our mad scientist:
Teddy bear hospital
We also went up to Mom's one weekend. Lexi got into the chapstick:
We had to bring Mr. Frog from Maaike's school (he came home with her for the weekend and we have to document the weekend with Mr. Frog in a journal that all the kids eventually take home). He really enjoyed the intense wind on Joon Joon's deck!

Our fashionista
Mr. Frog had an extended stay because we had many "snow" days when we got back from Joon Joon's! We had one day to be outside enjoying our dusting!
Southern sleds = boogie boards
A random shot of what I let the girls wear to the grocery store one day. We're so classy!
Now that naps are off the table for this little one on the weekend, if she can't take it, she'll plop down on the couch in the middle of everything and take a cat nap. Cutest. Thing!
I can't remember if this was January or February but whatever, it's too late for me to investigate. We had a crazy amount of ice invade our cul-de-sac just so Dave could show off his ice skating skills! It was crazy seeing it a sheet of ice!
He also pulled the kids on the boogie boards, and they wanted to do it over and over again!
