Nana and Great-Grandmom are in Emerald Isle for the week, so we've been up to see them a few times. On Sunday, we were able to hang out at the beach. It wasn't warm but that didn't stop the kids from having a blast!

An adult had to be near Maaike the entire time to make sure she didn't eat too much sand or any seashells!

Happy 32nd Birthday, Daddy! (October 10)
I feel horrible that I don't have any more pictures of the kids with Great-Grandmom! They really loved seeing her! Maaike enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with her and Ben had some good conversations with her! It was wonderful to spend some time together.
We went up again to visit yesterday and it rained the whole day. Sometimes it was just spitting and other times it was heavy rain. So we enjoyed the indoor pool after the kids woke up from their all-to-short naps!

Great pictures! I can almost smell the salt air! I'mpretty jealous of the swimming! We're bundled up and the stove is cranking! Thanks for the inside scoop!
