We traveled to Charlotte, NC, to spend the holiday with Dave's sisters and brother-in-law... and Libby's little bun in the oven as you can see here! She has less than 3 weeks until her due date! 
Just before eating, we headed down to the park so the kids could get some energy out!

Ben loved Uncle Todd's tractor with the leaf collector behind it. Ben wanted a better look at the leaf collector part so Todd held him like this to give Ben a closer look!

The day after Thanksgiving, we all piled in the car to get a Christmas tree! Here are Aunt Laurelyn and Maaike cheesing it up...

Talk about cheesing it up... look at Laurelyn and Maaike now!
Ben had a great time putting on the ornaments.
Todd lifted up Ben to put the final touch on the tree!
And poor little Maaike started getting sick while the Christmas tree decorating was going on around her. She just sat in our arms and chilled! Poor thing!
We also squeezed in some celebrating for Laurelyn's 30th! (Dec. 2) The girls made this cake! A layer of brownies cooked in a springform pan... followed by a layer of hot fude... then peppermint ice cream and cool whip! It was quite yummy!
Yesterday morning before we left, we managed to squeeze in one more thing. Ben's wonderful Aunt's got him a gingerbread train kit!
He loved it! He enjoyed eating the candy and licking his fingers just as much, but it was definitely a hit! Thanks girls!
