The girls and I watched Ben at his field day back in April! He had a great time and since it was at a park, the girls had fun, too!
One of the boys in Ben's class has a younger sibling, Mia, who Maaike has become friends with this year. We'd get to school to pick up Ben early just so they could play together! They loved having a few hours to hang out together while the boys had Field Day.
They're birthdays are exactly 2 weeks apart but, of course, Maaike has a slight height advantage!
An intermission with ice pops! (Ice pops, by the way, are one of my least favorite Mommy-of-children foods. Just thought I'd throw that in there.)
Back to Field Day... again with his tongue sticking out as he is concentrating so hard!

My mom and I miscommunicated when i thought she was coming down one day for her birthday celebration... so without the birthday girl we still enjoyed her cake(s)!
