Maaike was so excited about her recital this past Saturday, June 1! She couldn't wait to be Jasmine and a cowgirl for her ballet and tap dances! She had no stage fright at all and thoroughly enjoyed the whole recital experience!

A friend was going to watch both Ben and Lexi so they didn't have to sit through the recital. Ben was more than happy to be swimming with friends instead but Lexi insisted that she wanted to come with us to the recital! It definitely made for more work for us but it was sweet that she didn't want to miss out on the recital!

She asked me while she was changing if she was going to get flowers and I told her that Daddy's sometimes got flowers for their little girls and she'd just have to wait and see....
She was super duper excited when he handed her a bouquet!!!
