AUGUST TRIP- PT. 1

But before we went away, Ben got a week of surf camp, courtesy of Joon Joon!  He loved it and had a great time!

In the middle of August, we took a PA/NY trip to visit family!  Our first stop was PA, where we stayed with our cousins, the Roberts.  We had a great few days spending time with them!

Before we got to our cousins, we visited sweet Great Grandma Shaw!  The kids were able to swim a bit, which was great after being stuck in a car for most of the day!

We rolled down a big hill... which at the time seemed like a harmless idea!  

Except once I got to the bottom, I was soooooo nauseous!  It took a lot of time with my eyes closed, an extremely nauseating car ride back to their house with 1,000 turns, and a short nap upstairs for me to get over the pukey feeling.  It. was. miserable.  The era of rolling down hills for me has sadly come to an end :(

We went to Aunt Bette Ann and Uncle Tom's house to swim (only the kids) and have dinner!  I didn't get any pictures!  But here's one of Uncle Buddy with his beautiful dog, Maggie!  She's such a sweetie!

We did some Wii dancing!

And then a photo shoot in the back yard!  (All of these pictures are from Caroline!  She's such a great photographer!)

Why is there a tent?  Well, for 2 of the 3 nights, some of the kids slept outside in it!  I heard they had some good times, including a dance party?!  Ben loved it!!!!

We all had such a blast!!!
