Lexi is growing like a weed... and she's oh-so-sweet!!! (except during her fussy times between 8:30-11... not so sweet!)
Dave had a great Father's Day with his kiddos!
Lexi enjoys her baths and are a welcome relief from the fussies we encounter most nights!

My 2 cooks helping in the kitchen! There won't be any room on the stool once Lexi wants to "help"!
The kids and I checked out a splash pad near our house but unfortunately it was on an overcase, chillier morning so Ben was freezing! But his friends were there which made it great.

For the 4th of July we actually celebrated in our cul-de-sac! Our neighbor's father brought down fireworks from his lovely state of Ohio! There were fireworks going off all around us as well. It was a grea time and a good neighborly bonding time!
Lexi did not like the sounds but enjoyed watching the colors! Our neighbor, Jane, is holding her. We've gotten to know her pretty well and she welcomes us to use her pool whenever we like! It's been great!
Maaike's position most of the night! She didn't cry though!
Ben's position! He covered his ears but he liked watching them!
Once Ben came to sit on Dave's lap, Maaike turned around and watched the fireworks a little more!
Been wondering about her black eyes? She took a dive into the couch and got a big bump on her forehead a week ago and the bruise spread down to give her raccoon eyes! Poor thing! But she won't let that get in the way of her construction work!

lol great pictures Melouise! You look great as a blondy! I can't handle Maaike's head bump but I overall want to pinch your children!
