December 26th is currently my least favorite day of the year. It's been 8 years since Dad died and I still miss him a lot. It was hard at times to put on a smile and act like everything was ok, but there were also many reasons to smile this Dec. 26th!
Uncle Peter celebrated a birthday so we began our day with birthday belgium waffles!
He's not a big fan of blowing out candles the old-fashioned way so this is his alternative! Naturally, Ben thought it was quite cool!
We also went over to Aunt Bette Ann's house and celebrated Great Grandmom's 90th birthday!
Cousins! Maaike and Ben with Sarah and Caleb Roberts!
Aunt Libby and Lexi
Great Grandmom's birthday cake! Soooooo yummy!
Our hostess with the mostest, Aunt Bette Ann and Aunt Carol
Aunt Laurelyn with Lexi and cousin Hannah
Time for family photos! ALL of Great Grandmom's kids, grandkids and great grandkids were present! That was such a gift in itself that everyone could be together.

Grandmom with all of her great grandchildren... 14 so far!
Grandmom also has some great grandkids in the oven! #15, 16, and 17!

Time to blow out her candles... with a little help!
Ben and cousin Caleb... and boy does Ben love him!
