On Sunday afternoon, we went to the beach with Dave's sister, Libby! It was a beautiful day and Ben always has a good time at the beach. Now, going to the beach with a child is completely different than before Ben came along. It's a time filled with Ben running towards the water, after the birds, many trips to the water to fill up his buckets, constantly (at times it feels like it's all I say!) telling him not to throw and kick sand, and reminding him to be gentle when he is playing with his little friends!
So when Dave goes with us, I pretty much sit in my chair and let him take care of Ben! What a great guy he is! So here are some pictures of Daddy and Son at the beach.
Ben found a hold which entertained him for a long time! Dave got some time to chill out, too!
Ben's first time in the water! He wasn't too sure what to think at first but the giggles came quickly!
He was so cold when he got out (it was about 6:30) that he even kept his cute bear towel on! I contributed a little to the beach trip!
