We had a great Christmas in snowy Ohio! The day after we arrived, friends of our invited us to go sledding with them. Ben was in his element! He had such a blast tubing/sledding down over and over again. He didn't want any adults going with him (Jena, his 7 year old friend, was his partner of choice!) and he never complained about having to walk back up the hill. Maaike, on the other hand, wanted to be held the whole time and was not interested in going down the hill in the least. I took her once and she did not appreciate it!

Emma loved this singing Christmas tree! When she was upset or needed to be distracted, the Christmas tree quickly made her happy again!

Another photo op before Dave read The Night Before Christmas. Side note: Maaike was scared of Santa coming down the chimney. She'd look at it skeptically and sometimes say, "No out..." It made us smile!
