We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July with Libby, Todd and Emma! The kids loved playing with their cousin and swimming in her pool the whole weekend! We know Ben was in the pool A LOT because he came home with a nasty ear infection! Here are some (late) pictures of our weekend together....

One night we used the fire pit... here are Todd and Ben getting the fire going....
...and we made Smores! Maaike was pretty timid around the fire but she helped out for a little bit.

As Ben was eating, he kept saying "This is soooo yummy."
Aunt Libby bought some sparklers and Ben enjoyed them but...
... Maaike was totally spooked by them!
Back to the pool... Maaike and Ben loved the slide! I really didn't think she'd go down it but she couldn't wait to try it out! She went over and over and over....
Aunt Libby also had a craft idea for the kids to paint a flag!
Ben was quite a fish.... no more swimmies and all over the pool. It was pretty cool to see him enjoy his time so much!
Dave told Maaike to keep her chin up when she jumped... She really listened to him!
Lexi and Daddy.... she's made that we forced a hat on her.... the first of our children to fight a hat with all of her being!
We had a great weekend!
