Dave went away last Wed.- Sun. as a medical guy on our church youth groups annual summer trip to a camp in South Carolina. While he was off saving the world (well really kids with bumps, bruises, homesickness, etc...) I had some girl time with my good high school friend! Dana came from Wednesday to Saturday and we had a blast! She is an overly helpful houseguest and we were able to get out a lot and do some fun stuff with the kids! She even cooked dinner one night! I was spoiled!

Of course a visit isn't complete without a trip to the beach!
She even brought new beach toys! We desperately needed some new ones and the kids especially loved this contraption she brought!
Lexi's walking everywhere now! It was so fun to see her try to navigate her away around in the sand.
All in all, a great time was had by both Dave and I in our respective places!
