Aunt Libby (Dave's sis) and cousin Emma came to visit us for Easter! The kids were super excited to spend a few days with their Aunt and cousin! We visited the Children's Museum with half of Wilmington on Friday morning! It was rainy and they were having special Easter activities that day but we decided to be one with the crowds and check it out. The kids did great and weren't too bothered by all the commotion.
The had Easter egg hunts for the different age groups so Lexi and Emma went first...
We spent some time in the art room...
Maaike's turn for the egg hunt!
While Ben did his egg hunt (blame Dave and the rain for no pictures of Ben's hunt!), we decided to make some glitter Easter eggs. Libby and I learned quickly that we'll probably never use glitter to decorate eggs at our houses.... inside anyway! It was everywhere!
Emma got just as much glitter on her hands as she did on her egg!
Ben wouldn't let me get an action shot of him using the "video camera"!
At the grocery store!
That afternoon, we dyed Easter eggs at home!
Uncle Todd was away for the first part of Libby's visit with us but was able to join us Saturday night and for Easter! We went to one of Ben's favorite places for dinner... hibachi!
Ben was excited to sit next to Uncle Todd!
After dinner, we enjoyed some cookie pops that Aunt Libby made! It was the perfect end to a great day!
