Well, August came and went without an actual post of August pictures! Oops! So here goes....

Dave made a delightful dinner one night and it was so pretty I just had to take a picture!
My good friend, Dana, came to visit in the beginning of August while Dave was off galavanting without his family :) He went on our annual church youth trip as a medical guy! This was his second year going and he enjoyed himself a lot! So Dana came down to help and keep me company. We spent most of the time at my Mom's house in Emerald Isle.
The weather wasn't great.... nor were the kids moods apparently!

Look who's in panties making my coffee!!! Little Lexi is a big girl! We started 2 weeks ago and she's pretty good to go now! The first 5 days were miserable and it was really worse because I had all 3 kids at home and they also needed to be entertained! My sister was not one bit sympathetic as I was complaining of being exhausted and talking about all the misses Lexi was having. She was like, "Melissa, it's been 5 days. You could never have a dog and house train it." Yup, no sympathy and total truth.... not ready for a dog yet! Well, life looked up each day after that and 2 weeks and 3 days out, she's all good! She did pee in her pants yesterday right outside our house but that was the first accident in many, many days!
