This past weekend, we traveled back up to Emerald Isle to visit our good family friends who were down from NY. I've known Cindy and Lori since I was 10ish or so? I think? Well, it's been a long time! The kids love seeing them and we had another great couple of days at the beach!
The girls actually fell asleep in the same bed the first night! They loved it and were excited to share a bed the second night, too... but let's just say after 45 min. of hearing Lexi gab and giggle, they were separated! :)

We decided to check out the Seafood Festival in Morehead City. (Didn't eat any seafood though!) The kids were pretty excited and I think all of us adults have gotten our "fair fix" for a few years or so!
Maaike and Lexi were excited to go on some rides and Ben didn't go on ANY! We were all surprised but he just didn't feel like it.
He went in the silly house with Lori and they had to go down the slide at the end! Lori's such a kid at heart!!!!
