I'm realizing how very far behind I am on the blog! So enjoy a lot of pictures today! Here are more of our December activities!
Going to pick out our tree on a Friday night...
Lexi was REALLY excited to get our Christmas tree!

Again, another excited look! She was very interested in watching Dave saw the bottom of our tree to put in our tree stand!
Saturday morning...
Hang some lights! We outlined our house this year and Dave had to conquer his fears and get on the roof! Mr. Prepared was more than ready!
Nope- that's not Santa on our roof! Just Daddy!
Saturday afternoon-
Decorate the tree!
It was so much fun for Maaike to put up the ornaments!
And Ben has always enjoyed it, too!
Our stockings are ready for Santa to fill!
Lexi has done beautifully with the tree! She doesn't really pay much attention to it other than to look and point!

Christmas Parade!
Maaike and her friend, Carrington, were very excited to see the parade this year!
We met up with 3 other families downtown to watch the parade! These are kids from 3 of the families!

An intent audience!
The first time one of the firetrucks came by honking its horn, Lexi was over it all! So Daddy cuddled her up and every now and then she'd turn around and peek at the show!
Because every parade needs a llama...
One night, Daddy was reading the kids books and Ben couldn't keep his eyes open! They're oh-so-sweet when they sleep!
Ben had a holiday concert at school and these are most of the kids in the class. He only has 15 kids this year with only 3 girls! His teachers must be so exhausted at the end of the day!
