Last week, Dave's parents and Aunt and Uncle spent a few wonderful days with us! It was a great visit and so nice to spend time with them!
At night, the kids read books before they go to bed... so it's a treat when guests are here because naturally they want them to read books instead of Dave and I! So we had a few nights "off" from reading books and the kids snuggled up to whomever they chose!
One night Great Aunt Carol got Maaike and Lexi
Ben subjected Great Uncle Peter to Where's Waldo? Ben's pretty much memorized where Waldo is on each page so he was giving Uncle Peter clues to help him!
Uncle Peter went all out when he was playing tag (I think) with the kids!
He figured out how to get down safely, though!
Quality time...
Dave took a day off last week to spend with us and that afternoon we headed to the beach. We had a great time!
This is one of my favorites.... a lot going on here with Ben, Dave and Nana!

Maaike spent a lot of time with Poppy!
She particularly loved the game where she would sit on Poppy's lap and he'd push her into the water. She wanted to do it over and over and over...
Then Ben had to join in the fun!
I couldn't help but notice the slight contrast in skin color between Maaike and Poppy! Maaike tans like her Daddy but not like her Poppy!
