The day after Maaike's birthday, we took the kids on a birthday mystery trip. We managed to pack the car without them even knowing! Maaike's last soccer game was that morning so after the game, we got in the car and headed towards M.B. When they started asking questions, we told them about our mystery plans and they were pretty excited! (Me and surprises...)
Anywho, when we pulled up to Dunes Village, we had 3 very excited kiddos! We quickly put our stuff in the hotel and got in our bathing suits. There are a few water slides, indoor play areas and heated pools and hot tubs there! Dave and I still felt chilly at times, but the kids were perfectly comfortable!

Lexi went down a few times with us but quickly asserted her independence and went alone! She has a blast!
They have a new playground that we enjoyed after dinner on Saturday night!
Lexi legitimately fell asleep on Dave! Sweetest thing ever...
Of course, the transfer into bed did wake her up a bit but she settled down quickly.
