SWIM LESSONS AND MORE!

A couple pictures from Mom's house in Emerald Isle... 2nd row from the beach so we'll be there A LOT!

The kids bedroom with bunk beds and a queen size bed!  Plenty of room for them all to fit!  They love the bunk beds!

Lexi's adorable new bikini from Aunt Carol and Uncle Peter!  Then she ran and found her tutu to add to the cuteness!

All new beach houses come equipped with elevators... and the kids love it!

Ben and Maaike took swimming lessons for an hour a day for 2 weeks.  They just finished this past Friday!  Ben, our little fish, had 3 kids in his class with 2 teachers!  The big kids aren't out of school yet so the morning classes didn't have too many 5 year olds.  He loved EVERY SINGLE MINUTE!  His teachers, Mike and Mike, handled our energetic, water-loving boy very well!

Maaike had a great first week!  She couldn't wait to go back every day!  For some reason, the second week brought on the tears.  She wasn't afraid of anything specific but she just didn't want to go.  Her crying wouldn't last too long but it wasn't fun to watch her cry.  She got over herself by Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed her last 2 days!  She swam with a bubble but they also took it off during every lesson.  By the end, she was jumping from this platform and swimming to the teacher!

Ben loved doing cannon balls off the platform!

This was her last day...

And Ben's last day... they really helped him with his diving!

...and throwing him over and over and over!  He couldn't get enough of it!

On Friday, we met Dave at Chick-Fil-A to celebrate a job well done!

A very loose first tooth... (it fell out yesterday but that's for the next post since these pictures have been loaded for a few days!)

Ah, my little Lexi... taking her to swim lessons was an experience, as I thought it would be!  She's a runner and on concrete floors I was a wreck!  But we all survived!  Next year she'll be going too... what will I do with no children up in the bleachers???  I've never had that experience!
